🎫 Does God Of War Ragnarok Run Well On Ps4 Reddit
God of War is a really interesting example of video game combat. The 'combat' itself - meaning the actual part where you're swinging/throwing the axe, and using abilities - feels pretty great imo. However, the enemies are garbage. They're so annoying and repetitive to fight.
I am pretty much convinced the game was built on PS5 hardware and then ported to PS4 as the PS5 sales and covid screwed everything up. Originally it was supposed to be PS5 exclusive, then it got heavy delayed which I assume is because they needed to port it to PS4 so with that logic I would assume PS5 version will look a lot better, well better in FPS, resolution and most likely better
The good news is that, yes, God of War Ragnarok does perform better on the PS4 Pro than the standard PlayStation 4 system. However, it doesn’t run quite as well as it does on the far more
• 10 mo. ago by FruitsPonchiSamurai1 How well does Ragnarok run on PS4 pro? I still haven't gotten around to getting a ps5, so I was planning on waiting till I got one to play Ragnarok, but it's been a little difficult holding off with my friends loving it and talking about it.
Well, the teaser did say “Ragnarok is coming” but to be fair I suppose that doesn’t give it explicitly away. I think most people could’ve guessed they wouldn’t do 2 or 5. If it ended up being a Trilogy instead of just 2 I would’ve guessed that this game would’ve been called God of War: Fimbulwinter.
Turns out, GoW Ragnarok needs goldhen. So, first, I uninstalled my previous failed installation of GoW:R and then ran the GoldHEN exploit, mine is v2.1. Then, entered the GoldHEN menu and installed the Base pack, then the 2.00 backported update, then the 2 DLCs via the Package Installer of GoldHEN.
God of War: Ragnarok is an outlier, but that's because the game and its style doesn't need Ray Tracing. To explain it there are 3 types of Ray Tracing. Those being RT Reflections (i.e. Spider-Man, Control, Ratchet), RT Shadows (GTA V, Metro Exodus Enhanced), and RT Ambient Occlusion (Rift Apart on PC). The last one being very difficult for the
So I played the game on both modes on PS4Pro, performance and quality, and honestly, the framerate was not all that much better on perfomance. I'd say something like stable 30fps on performance, and 20-30 on quality, depending on situation. The game does look gorgeous on Pro, especially on quality mode with HDR on, but if you are set on high
There is a huge difference, it's a 33% improvement in literal frames but that doesn't quite represent the actual benefit. In terms of frame time, it's halfway between 30 and 60 FPS. To say that half of the improvement from 30 to 60 isn't much difference is really, really, dumb.
Either by changing the settings on your TV and PS5 or connecting the PS5 to a different HDMI port. Then, once the game starts up, go into the games settings, open "Graphics and Camera," and set "High Frame Rate Mode" to "Off." That seems to be what is causing the issues. I'm a couple hours in, now, and am happy to say Ragnarok was worth the
We got to see Odin, Faye, the nidhogg fight, and more of the Thor fight is now leaked (the entire fight is viewable on the god of war sub, surprised its not posted here yet). That's pretty substantial if you ask me, and I wouldn't be surprised if more gets posted soon. More is definitely coming.
It will run well. I also have a base ps4, and as most ps4 owners who'll be playing ragnarok we all are worried of our console. GoW Ragnarok will feel like GoW 2018 as it was originally a ps4 game.
